ENDURO

Armenia is a mountain country and thus has great potential for Enduro.

Enduro is an off-road motorcycle sport in which, due to the longer distances, not only speed but also the endurance of the pilot and the reliability of the motorcycle are important. The participants set off one after the other at short intervals on a route that was unknown to them.

The stages to be completed lead over public paths and roads as well as through rough terrain with obstacles. Enduro motorcycles must comply with road traffic regulations and are therefore also permitted on public roads.

In the classic enduro, the pilots have to complete a circuit of up to 50 kilometers long three to four times in a given time. If the participant does not manage to keep to the time, he will receive penalty times. In addition, special tests from the areas of cross, enduro, and extreme sports are incorporated into the course.

There are also many other forms of enduro sport. In an hour-long enduro, for example, as many laps as possible have to be completed on a short circuit in a given time. Here the competitions usually last between two and twelve hours.

NMFA has programs of tours and competitions of hard enduro and super enduro.
